Joe Cornish Workshop and Talk - October 2009

We are delighted to welcome Joe Cornish to Dublin for a talk and a workshop. Joe is arguably one of the finest contemporary landscape photographers alive.

His use of light, composition and texture, in conjunction with his unbridled passion for the landscape and the environment, have resulted in a collection amazing landscape photography from both his native Britain and across the globe.

Joe will be showing and discussing his method and philosophy, giving us a unique insight into his work, which has been so successful.

This really is an event not to be missed, as it represents a unique opportunity to listen and speak with this top professional landscape artist.

Joe is the author of several superb landscape books which will be available for sale on the night and which may be autographed for you.

Joe will also be giving a landscape photography workshop. In this one day workshop, Joe will be discussing his procedures and techniques in relation to landscape photography, covering aspects such as Preparation and Planning, Composition, Metering, Colour Technique, Use of Filters and Best Light.

Included in this workshop will be a field trip (weather permitting) where Joe will put the above into practice by demonstrating how he photographs the landscape.

The workshop will conclude with an optional critique session where participants can receive some invaluable feedback on their work. Full details of how to submit work for critique will be provided in advance.

Lunch is included in the workshop fee.

This landscape workshop is simply a must for all aspiring landscape photographers, whether you are beginner or advanced. As the number of participants will be limited, early booking is recommended.
