World Toy Camera Day 2008
As World Toy Camera Day is on 18th October this year, we are planning to run a toy camera event on this date in Airfield Trust, Dundrum.
We will have a few spare toy cameras to give those of you who don’t own any a try.
Start time will be 11am and you will have a few hours to walk around the Grounds of Airfield (www.airfield.ie) and shoot some film. There is lots of subjects to choose from such as plants, animals, old buildings and vintage cars.
After lunch you will have the opportunity to develop your b&w films and we can show anyone who hasn’t done developing, how to do it. If the films are not dry before you leave, we will post them to you. You can also shoot colour films but would need to develop them elsewhere.
The only cost to you is the €6 entrance fee to Airfield and €10 to cover the Darkroom costs. Please register your interest with us by email before the 18th.
So if you want to give that Holga, Lomo or Lubitel a go, this is your chance.
