Les Mclean is coming to Dublin for a workshop that’s not to be missed. Author of Creative Black and White Photography, Les is one of the best darkroom printers in the world and his workshops are famed as much for their tuition as their fun.
In this workshop Les Mclean will show you, through the use of split grade printing, two bath development, water baths and paper flashing, how to successfully produce hand made, fibre based, silver gelatine prints.

This workshop is suited to those who have a reasonable degree of experience in Darkroom Printing but wish to take their skills to a higher level. Using Fibre Based photographic paper, Les will show you how to successfully produce hand-made, Fine Art Photographic Prints that just glow.

-Flashing and Fogging techniques
-Split Grade Printing
-Multi Grade Printing
-Two bath development
-Water bath development
-Selenium toning for image enhancement and archival purposes.
